About the Role:

We are hiring for the position of Sales Manager in the Life Insurance - Agency Channel based in Chandigarh and Ludhiana. This position is ideal for MBA freshers or candidates with experience in sales, including Sales Executives, Sales Officers, or Sales Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Agency Channel / POS Management:

   • Monitor agent performance on key metrics such as renewals, fresh databases, sales funnel, and closures.

   • Ensure a high active percentage of POS (Point of Sale) agents.

   • Control and manage POS agents' activities and performance.

   • Maintain the productivity of the team and POS, ensuring effective channel engagement.

2. Channel Servicing:

   • Perform reconciliation of partner accounts and coordinate with other departments.

   • Manage profitability and work on improving market dynamics within the organization.

   • Monitor and manage loss ratios, ensuring profitability targets are met.

3. Compliance & Hygiene:

   • Ensure compliance with external bodies and regulatory authorities.

   • Maintain internal compliance standards.

   • Handle cheque bounce recovery and business pendency.

   • Take responsibility for other duties as per the KPIs and growth objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 0-6 years of experience in sales or business development.

• Education: Graduate or Post Graduate (MBA preferred, especially in Marketing).

• Key Skills:

  • Sales management and execution.

  • Experience in life insurance sales (POS or Agency Channel).

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage sales teams and POS agents effectively.
